One of the strongest indicators of a successful project is when a client asks you to return.

This industrial estate is a perfect example of the long-term relationships SEKA Group builds with its clients.

Following the successful completion of previous roofing projects on the estate, we were instructed to undertake a third building refurbishment. By the end of this year, we will return once again to deliver the fourth phase of works, continuing the client’s long-term investment programme across the site.

The Challenge

Each building remained fully operational throughout the works, requiring careful planning, detailed logistics and close coordination with the client to ensure minimal disruption to daily business activities.

Every project had to be programmed around site operations, access requirements, material deliveries and health and safety considerations, while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship.

Our Solution

Across the first three buildings, SEKA Group carried out roof overlay systems over the existing asbestos cement roofs, providing a cost-effective solution that significantly extended the life of each building while improving thermal performance and weather protection.

The fourth and final phase will involve a complete transformation of the building, including:

•⁠  ⁠Full removal and licensed disposal of the existing asbestos roof.
•⁠  ⁠Installation of a new insulated QuadCore composite panel roofing system.
•⁠  ⁠Installation of new triple-glazed rooflights to maximise natural daylight and improve energy efficiency.
•⁠  ⁠Modern rainwater systems and associated roofing details.
•⁠  ⁠Complete project management from planning through to completion.
